• He was appointed as a Financial Expert at the public prosecutors office in Lugano, the Court of First Instance in Geneva and the Court of the Canton of Lausanne.

• He obtained the Federal Diploma of Chartered Accountants in Switzerland.

• Presentation of an expert report to the judge as part of criminal proceedings concerning the Mont Blanc tunnel accident of 1999.

• Presentation of an expert report to the Court of Milan relating to the company SONDEL and its spin-off with contribution in the Italian electricity company (along with ENEL and Montedison).

• Mauro Michelini becomes a member of the “Ordre des Experts-comptables” of Marseille, and is authorised to provide chartered accounting services in France.

• Appointed as a Technical Consultant to the Court of Milan for extraordinary operations (contributions, mergers, spin-off).

• Becomes a Statutory Auditor and joined the “Albo dei Revisori Contabili” in Italy.

• In 1980, Mauro Michelini obtains a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Bologna, specialised in business and professional studies. Thesis (of 15.12.1980) received with jury congratulations, entitled “The European Community balance sheet”.
